Hi, first post on here. I have a 1992 International 4900 with a dt466c, interested in dropping a dt466p in it instead of trying to change out the injection pump. Found a low mileage '94 ngd motor that would end up costing less than a new p-pump and all the necessary mods it would need to be switched over. Is this a pretty straight forward swap or am I looking at a lot of custom fab work and other conversion adapters to get it in. Thanks.

 

It is quite a bit of work to swap over. Being a 94 engine, it may have a puny 10mm P3000 pump. You really have to get the right engine with the right pump to make it worth while. Still much cheaper and better results to Ppump swap your 466. If you get a pump from a Dodge, you'll know it's gonna push fuel pretty good.
