Hey everyone,
New to the diesel world, I just bought a 2017 Cummins 3500. I am looking to get some better sound out of it, ideally I would like have new 5" system put in but I don't want to delete my def/dpg because of the warranty. Can I simply just remove the muffler? Any tips?

 

If you just took the muffler off, wouldn't that also void your warranty?

 

From the little bit of research I am finding, removing the muffler will just void any warranty on the exhaust system. Where removing the def/dpf will void all powertrain warranty
