So my ac quit working last summer hope to get up before it gets hot. Ive checked the fuse and there good, i have power at the fuse. there is supposed to be a relay in the power distribution box but my manual says there isn't one. (5 relays in the box). i have a diagram that shows a relay in there but i cant locate it. anyone know for sure witch one it is and were is it?

So far Ive by-passed the two pressure switches and attached the gauges to high and low side with no pressure, I applied 12v two the clutch and it actuates but no pressure. Iam starting to believe the compressor is out. Any thoughts?

 

Compressor might very well be out, but before ruling that out, inspect all hoses, lines and connections for leaks or signs of a leak, as well as the condenser, and evaporator. The evaporator will be a pain as it is housed under your dash. If youre not seeing any pressure in the system, as indicated by the gauges, its likely completely discharged, BUT, now ya have find out why. I had the same issue with my a c, and it turned out to be a small leak at the condenser. It appeared that a small rock or other object impacted the condenser, evidenced by a small dent to the fins and cross-tube, causing a leak. Just one of the hazards of highway driving. Good luck!
