Default Engine Rebuild

So the dilemma is that I happened to have water in my oil and trashed atleast one bearing. I Have another car so time is not a concern. Need a plan of action for those who have been here. Plan is to run a 188/220 cam in motor. I hear trouble of clearance, yes the head and block will be decked, I do not know how much is needed if any to make flat. Ive run through the idea of thicker HG, but can it be done with fire rings? Should I just O-ring, or hell even nothing? Fly cuts? The kit will fly cut the pistons before they send it out, just trying to limit the amount of backtracking I have to do. As for the truck its a 62/75 compound setup with 7x0.013 and 3 jets of water meth (38gph) I do not plan on running nitrous, And I would like to break 700 (Yes I know its hard with a VP) but gotta have goals. Thanks guys.

There is not a standard 24v gasket that is thicker. Mahle used to make one. If someone else knows of one (other than the modified 12v headgasket for $200 please share).
