Default sounds like a slight miss but I don't know...

My 94.5' powerstroke sounds like it has a little miss. At idle it shakes a little more than it should and I can hear a little bit of a different noise from one cylinder. When it is under load it will shake quite a bit at lower rpms. It only has a ts6 chip but it still feels as it has just as much power as any other 7.3 I've been in... I need help!

No I haven't. Is there any way to do any of those tests without a scanner?

May I ask what a buzz and contribution test are? I've never heard of either one and am really curious. Thanks.

buzz test makes sure the injector solenoids are firing right and the contribution test makes sure all the injectors are working like they should be.

Ok, Thanks for the reply. I just bought a 94 f-250 idi and it seems to be in good mechanical running condition. I'm going to go thru the truck to make sure everything is in good shape before I start depending on it so I was really curious. Thanks.

LOL well naturally. This has not been my best year. Thank you for not letting me embarrass myself by going to a shop asking for those test's. Have a great day and Merry Christmas.

Default 94 1/2 Powerstroke

My PS when it starts sometimes or tries to start seems like it isn't running on all cylinders. When it does this I turn it off and restart and it does fine. Seems to idle a little ruff also. Any ideas? Thanks Dave
