Default Wondering if my truck sounds normal or am I being paranoid
Bought this truck in July and it's my first diesel so not 100% sure if it sounds normal

Sounds pretty normal to me. Heui injectors are quite loud

Thanks for the response. I'm getting ready to do an oil change and will be changing to rotella synthetic 10w 30. I've heard that may quiet it down a bit

It's rottella t5 synthetic 10w 30. It's not nearly expensive as the 5 40. I've read reviews from people using it and they were all good

Your pickup so you do what you want but I wouldn't run 5W-30

Is there a reason for that? I've been reading reviews of other people running it in their 7.3's during winter months and they say the truck starts up easier and it also quiets the injector noise a bit
