Crossover Tube O-Ring
I have a small amount of fuel leaking from cylinder 1 and 3 for sure - potentially other cylinders from where the high pressure line enters the head- I have replaced high pressure lines 1,3,4&5. On start up I can see a few small air bubbles and then a steady seep from the lower part of the Bolt where the fuel line connects to- It has 175,200 original miles. From what reading I have done it seems to be the crossover tube o-ring ($5.24 for 6 at Cummins dealer)- what is the best way to install new O-rings on the crossover tubes? I would like to do all 6 at once and be done with it. Any advice is appreciated!

I was successful with line #1 stopping the leak- it's leaking out of line #2 as well- couldn't get that one to stop- is it common for then to leak at the same time? I had 3 of my fuel lines go at the same time too-
not that i know of.. my 03 has 360,000 km all original and they have never been touched/ dont leak
it does seem strange that the majority are leaking like that, not really sure what too tell ya buddy, make sure everything is clean clean clean

Sorry for the delayed response- the O rings were fine- the crossover tubes or jumper tubes needed to be replaced- the ones that were in there were not factory and some cheapo brand- with the high pressure flowing through there it eroded away at the end of the tube causing excessive fuel and the leak- the odd thing is that there were no hard starting conditions or high idling which is usually a symptom of this- new tubes=no leak
