So will 91 7.3 turbo injectors work in a 84 6.9 non turbo? I pulled my injector s today and found 2 not working have a set for my 91 7.3 turbo that a new just wondering if I could use them

 

does the 91 have a newer motor swapped in or is it an aftermarket turbo? if its the factory 91 motor then definitely YES. not 100% sure if factory turbo motor injectors will work but i dont see why not.

 

Yes all stock it was my dad's and he bought it new and keep it the way it rolled off the show room. Well it till a a high school girl texting t boned him and totalled it. So now I have it and I love my 6.9l but plan to use the turbo on mine and change the ip with the 91. So ya its orgiznl

 

well the 91 didnt come factory with a turbo so either its got a 93+ motor or its got an aftermarket turbo.

 

When dad bought the truck he special order this truck with all kinds of goods like air lift airbags 5 wheel hitch trailer brakes and a ats turbo

 

then yes they will definitely work.

 

Well I put them in and they work great truck runs the best it ever has. Lots of power and no smoke. Thanks for the help

The factory turbo injectors should have a "G" code stamped on them, but no reason they wouldn't work just fine in an N/A truck. You would only find the G codes in a factory turbo 94-94.5 IDI.
