what a shocker 6.5 problem

Default what a shocker 6.5 problem

alright guys I have a 1995 6.5 turbo diesel 223000 miles the other day I drove it probably about 45 miles and then came out of Walmart and went to leave went two hundred foot and died restarted while rolling made another 200 feet died again made it prolly half a mile died for a third time ended up getting towed home when I got home I let it run for 45 minutes never had a problem drove 12 miles to work this morning truck died restarted made it away up my bosses driveway replace fuel filter at his house and drove all the way home (12 miles) no problems let it run in the driveway for 45 minutes and it stalled out its throwing code 65 and 78 someone please help im New to the 6.5 game and getting pretty tired of it. Stuff done to the truck 4" exhaust #9 resister cold air and a fds(pdm)cooler mounted on the intake

sounds like the pmd is out again. get it off the intake and stick it behind the bumper or anywhere else that doesn't get radiant heat. from experience I have learned to always have at least one "known to be good" pmd on hand to swap out.

DTC 65 - Accelerator Pedal Position 3 Circuit Range Fault
DTC 78 -Turbo Wastegate Solenoid Fault

throttle peddles do fail and sometimes just need cleaning?
Check out the vac system.

Intake is the worst possible location for a remote PMD-under/behind the frt bumper ot behind the grill with a 6' extension harness from a reliable vendor like angelofishes on ebay or Leroy Diesel.

Every electronic 6.5 owner should have a spare known working PMD properly mounted on a heatsink with him at all times-its not if they are gonna fail but when?
