hi I'm new to the forum and am learning how to work the website when i can but am having problems with my transmission in my truck. It seems like its going into its safety mode or something but I'm not real certain not being a transmission guy if anyone on here knows about the e4od's and how to test things on them and figure out the problem it would be greatly appreciated and I'm going to make a youtube account to post issues i come across on video along with being able to post pics

First off, that's a sweet looking truck you got there. Secondly, I know diddly about auto transmissions hence the reason I usually convert them to standards. The only thing I really know is that if your tachometer isn't working, it can make your transmission act weird as it uses that signal to help shift. While there is plenty of good advice in here, if you are seeking more, I would highly recommend oilburners.net. It has a heavily trafficked IDI section. I usually have 2-3 forums I ask my questions on so I can get the most feedback possible.
