I have a 95 e350 shuttle bus. Getting High to low side short codes on cylinder 1 2 3 and 8. Getting very low resistance readings on the injector coils. Apparently The fcim failed under the previous owner, and was replaced. I feel as if the coils on top of the injector was fried by the previous fcim failure and was wondering if I can swap just the solenoids on top of the injectors.

 

you mean the solenoids? also there is no ficm on the 7.3. the ficm is a 6.0 thing, the 7.3 has an IDM. i think you can swap them with another set but im not 100% sure.

 

I would change out valve cover gaskets first and see if that cures it. The wiring is known for burning up in the valve cover gaskets.
