Iam looking to swap out my TTB 50 with a Dana 60. I have a 92 f250, 7.3, 4x4. I want to know what year would be the closest thing to a straight bolt up. What kind of modifications i will need. If i can use anything from the TTB 50. What things will i need to buy. On a tight budget here. Thank you!

 

The axle aint gonna be cheep ... what are your goals ? .. I wheel mine ... there tuff, but easy to knock outta adj also ...

 

A D60 from an 86-97 F-350 would be easiest. You will also need the track bar and associated mounting hardware.

 

Iam not gonna wheel just when i go to the lake and stuff i know theses trucks arnt ment for wheeling haha. I want to lift my truck and the ttb doesn't have that many options and i hear the 60 is a better axle all around. Pick n pull has a 95 f350 with a 60 for $250, thicking i might go yank her out
