My 97 has the Dana 80 hybrid under it and I was thinking about swapping it out in favor of something that has disc brakes so that they would actually work. I've replaced the pinion seal 3 times and sleeved it the last time and it still has a slight leak and now the passenger wheel seal is leaking also. I thought about trying to find a AAM 1150 like my duramax has. I like it and have had very few issues with it, it also runs a 1480 u-joint, which is a slight improvement. My question is if the speedometer would work and what is the sensor in the Dana 80 hybrid?
