Default 2nd gen 12v cummins fuel supply line..Help

I recently replaced my lift pump and the fuel line from pump to filter is bent all to sh*t. So I cut the line and spliced it with rubber fuel line but the fitting on pump is leaking and I cant get it to seal any ideas

Did u flange the metal line so the rubber line fits tight ??

Also the fittings in the LP, they are British national threaded ... Nothing but that will work .. So if you have put a brass fitting that was not originally from the lift pump... Its gonna leak like crazy..

if you have the fitting, use a tubing flanger make a slight flange and smooth out the edges and put on a new line and use 2 small hose clamps, not super tight, leave some room for tightening if it leaks from there ...

keep us posted ...

THe problem is not on the rubber line that is not leaking "at least not yet" the leak is from the fitting at the pump. Where the male hose fitting screws into the diaphragm fitting on the pump. Seal around the threads is good. leak is coming from around outside of pipe and hole in male fitting
