Out of my 95 with the automatic, the trans goes right from 3rd into overdrive lockup instead of overdrive before lockup. Any idea why it would do this? Any input would be great.

Yeah, chirp 4th WOT at 80mph - that would turn some heads.

 

well, with 4.10's it would chirp them about 40 or so ... W/O plate it was doing it on lock up in 3rd .. LOL..... then the HG went POP, now its neutered with the plate FF. No fun !!

But back to the subject @ hand , I'm thinking he's got a lock up solenoid thats fautly Or like Jbear said it could be Tv cable as well ... I'm putting money on the Solenoid or something like Tps causing a mixed signal ....

 

I'd like to take this opportunity to hijack the topic and say: I really hate automatics.
