I am new to the forum. I bought a 1999 Dodge Cummins brand new and I have had it all of these years. I was unfortunate in the fact that I bought one of the bad blocks(53). Thye block cracked when I was pulling a work trailer. I bought a short block from Cummins and had it put in. Thanks to everyone who posts their ideas and knowledge. I have been using posts to fix minor issues on my truck so I finally registered. I am happy to be learning lots more about my Cummins.
