What's the difference in parts for 99.5 and one manufactured in 10/98. Any suggestions on performance parts?. The vehicle is completely stock. Crew cab 4x4

 

the E99 has a diffrent turbo, smaller intake plenums and smaller hpop. but for the most part they are the same and can be upgraded just the the 99.5+

 

thanks for the info I have been looking through catalogs and everything is listed for 99.5 and up. what is the best place to start with upgrades it has stock everythingand I'm looking to make the truck a better daily driver and weekend toy for off roading

 

Gauges, intake, exhaust and chip is the basic starting point

 

does it make a difference on the year most everything that I have found says 99.5 and up

 

I think intake and exhaust should work but I'm not 100% positive
