Hey yall

I have a 97F350 that wont start. Previously the truck ran fine but struggled to start in cold weather. three weeks ago i changed the oil (truck ran fine after), It then sat for last 2 weeks and..now no start.

Turn the key 'wait to start" light comes on, truck turns over and tac jumps looks close to 250-350, and lots of white smoke from tailpipe and passenger side of engine.

Fuses are all good, batteries are good, GPR checked and functioning properly..please help

my truck use to do the same thing. how long does the (wait to start) light stay on when you turn the key

 

turn the key on and donw pay attention to the wait to start light, leave the key on for about 2 minutes before cranking and see if it will start. Just because the wait to start light goes out doesnt mean the glow plugs dont keep heating the cylinders.

 

Have you gotten it to start at any point?
