88 c6 dipstick question

Will the dipstick and tube from a gas c6 2wd tranny work in my c6 tranny 2wd 7.3 idi

I don't believe it will, my bronco c6 tube gave me a hell of a time trying to find the right one, there are many different styles of it

Would one of those braided flexible summit ones work for a diesel c6 it only says c6 460 but I need a dipstick tube.

It should work, Just need to get out and measure the distance from the inlet hole on the pan, to the top of the head, then look at the specs for the summit one
