stranded! please help 95 f350
Hey y'all I just got off work, I was driving home, I pulled up to a stop light and my truck just died. It was at normal operating temp, it was plugged in while I was at work. I tried to restart it but wouldn't start. It would turn over but it wouldn't fire. Please help! I'm on side of road and its freezing out side. Thanks for any replies and help
Hey joebob, I really didn't pay attention to the tach, I was more worried about getting it out of the middle of the intersection onto a side road. I didn't run any anti gelling fluid in it. Maybe it gelled up? I went back there this morning to start it and of course, no start. It obviously wasn't plugged in last night plus we had below zero temps. The starter would just spin but not try to crank the motor (not the first time that's happened)

Okay update on the truck: I got it started today. I replaced the fuel filter and the tach was moving when I was cranking so I figured the cps was okay. I backed it out of the barn, took it down the road and it started acting up again then just died. I tried to crank it over but it wouldn't start. I took some ether and sprayed it, the truck fired up but then died. I looked up pushing some button or something that released air in the system. I did that and it fired right up and I drove it back home. Any help? Could there be somewhere that its sucking air?
