So i'm going to be in the market for a tuner very soon. It seems innovative is the way to go for tunes however i'm stuck on the model. innovative doesnt have it on their page but the SCT ITSX seems like a good idea and i have an iphone, the other is the SCT X3. Does anybody have any preferences and reasons for one over the other? Could i get innovative's tunes on the ITSX? I'm guessing i'm going to have to call them on that last question. Has anybody used the sct advantage III tuning software? hard to learn? Truck is a close to stock 04 dually. Thanks

 

I have the SCT X3, it works fine and was fairly easy on the wallet. I have tunes from MKM and Innovative and i do prefer Innovative's tunes. I don't have any input on the other models you mentioned as I have never used them. The X3 works for me and is simple to use. It just comes down to what you want from the tuner, i.e. monitoring certain parameters. As for the software I've never used it, but SCT does offer training on their software, details are on their website.
