Im pretty sure it is a bearing issue i n the steering column from grabbing on to the steering wheel to climb into truck as it was liftrd at one time. My question is, what is the easiest way to get to them and where are they located? Thanks

 

Easier to go ti salvage yard and get whole new steering column. Those columns are a pain in the a $$ to tear apart to change anything

Yeah i figured. I really didnt want to have to replace the whole column

 

Replacing the column really isnt too bad in that. Electrical connector. Bolt in front of firewall for linkage. Lower plastic in the dash and 4 bolts. Should pull tight out
