Default 97 powerstroke rpm hang

just changed my injectors when i rev the engine the rpms dont just drop they hang and slowly drop its also low on power hot or cold it takes the same amount of cranking to start like its losing its prime? and no excessive blowby ideas?

How many miles on it since you swapped them?

Run the **** out of it ti get the high pressure oil primed. Drive it like you stole it for a week.

found it maniflod pressure was disconnected from taking the valvecover off haha but im pretty sure my dualmass flywheel is toast constant noise from the clutch area and vibration and only like 20 miles since i swapped them

You still have air in it. Can take 50+ miles to get the air out.

thanks for the info never swapped a set before since my truck is cali what should my fuel pressure be? an does the flywheel make noise when it goes out because the engine sounds smooth but it slightly shakes and there is constant clunk coming from the inspection plate

The dual mass ones make some noise, been a while since I have been around one so I can't remember. I have my fuel pressure set at 68psi

i wanna get rid of the dual mass regardless but damn its expensive and i appreciate the help

They are a lot cheaper then an auto Lol. My clutch was 1700

true haha only reason i have my powerstroke is because i hate autos with a passion and my idi was an auto i paid 500 bucks for my powerstroke as parts for the 5sp conversion turns out the powerstroke was savable
