Timing
1st .. there all the same ... as far as the settings go .. the best way to explain it .....
Pull the oval shaped cover off rotate engine so u know which direction to go ... if you want advanced timing loosen the 3 allen bolts and rotate slightly ( a little bit goes a long way ), I did mine by SOP( seat of pants ) and she is a screamer ...
retarding just spin it the oppisite direction ....
I beleive the pump turns clock wise on the gear and so to advance you would loosen and spin the crank counter clock wise if i rember correctly - you will want to double check that .... been about 5 yrs since I re did mine ... might fiddle with it after the HG's are done ... go the drivers side head on today ... take your time and make a mark with a small chizel to mark where you started as you will want a point of refrence... just in case..... good luck and keep us posted
