cummins swap

what would I need to do to swap a 1989 1st gen cummins to a 1999 ram 2500 single cab

It should be a fairly simple swap over. The 12valve has less electronics than the 99.

only electronics on a 1st gen cummins is the shutoff solenoid and starter.

getting your gauges to work will be a challenge...
