Does anyone have a replacement rign that keeps the vgt turbos from surging? and does anyone have any info on a complete tear down and clean and reassembly?

 

You could call someone like cummins and give them the engine # and ask for the price for the ring and teardown sheet.

 

i have the factory ring still in my he351... i was hoping to find a ring that will reduce the turbo bark/surging when i let off the peddle. i have a manual so if im pulling something heavy up a hill or taking off pretty good bob tailing when i shift it barks every gear.. and im goning to just tear down the turbo and see how it goes. does anyone know what i should clean the parts with? will brake and parts cleaner work?
