Anyone have any issues with the inner axle bearings, before the ujoint and hub bearing? Passenger front is shot on mine, axle will clunk and walk.... No oil leaking but the bearing is apparently done. 66k on the odo....between this and the hub bearing on the drivers side I'm shocked at the issues I've had with this considering the minimal use the 4wd gets.....

 

Are you the first ower of this truck?
If not maybe it was replaced before you bought the truck and it incorrectly repaired.

 

Yup bought it new..... That's why I know it hasn't been abused, etc. the odometer just turned 66k, I'm shocked at the # of issues I have already had with this truck, 4 gas dodge trucks before this combined with a total if over 380k didn't have this many issues!

I hate to say it but if it wasn't a matter of $$ I'd trade this thing in for a 1 ton Chevy with a gas motor in a second at this point. I know a 6.2 and a 4l80 transmission will tow what I tow with this truck no issue, and the cheaper maintenance would easily offset any fuel mileage difference. Sad really
