Hey Guys I just recently bought a new to me 2008 6.4. She has about 94,000 miles and I was wondering about the dpf and egr delete. I had heard some places that deleting a higher mileage truck wasn't a great idea and I was just wondering if y'all could help me out. This is my first venture into the diesel world and would sure appreciate the help.

 

Right now I have 63,000 miles, I still have warranty till 10/23/2013, but I'll be doing a DPF/EGR delete when my warranty is up

 

I guess I should have mentioned this in my first post. I purchased a Ford ESP plan for 3 years and 36,000 miles. I'll hit the mileage first so the truck will be sitting at around 127,00 miles when the warranty is up.

 

I say delete it all, none of it is good for the truck.

 

Im doing it all DPF/CAT Delete as well as EGR right now my 2008 has 40k but out of warranty. Get it gone
