NEW to this forum
HOW important is the Heavy/Billet bandstrut and anchor for the 48re rebuild??????????????
At what POINT(HP) are they necessary?
Just need for towing.....

It doesn't have anything to do with HP, its all about pressure in the VB. Very much more than stock and the strut will bend. Add a shift kit you need to add band strut, anchor, servo, and accumulator.
