Looking to purchase a k47 air filter box for my 99' 6.5L. Not sure if this is in the right forum, if not, please go ahead and move it. Otherwise, please let me know if you, or someone you know, has a box for sale. Thanks.

 

The 99 should already come with the K-47 airbox,if you have the round filter-you have the K-47.

Yeah, it did. But i just recently bought the truck, and their is no box, just an open filter. I would like to get a box to keep the hot diesel temps out of my air filter. Ive been looking at car-parts.com, and have them ranging from $100 - $150 which aint a bad price. Just thought i would check here first.

 

Over on the diesel place forums that i frequent, i found a complete k47 air intake for sale in the 6.2/6.5 classified section.

 

Thanks for the heads up. $120 is a pretty average price. Ill keep looking around
