Question 1996 K2500 Burb 25+mpg? Possible?

I have a bone stock 1996 K2500 Suburban. This is a daily driver and i love my truck.I would like to start some mods on my truck to inprove mileage and performance. Where to start and what to expect? By the way I have 265/75/16 tires and 4.10 gears in my truck. Tanks for any advise in advance. Oh yea it has 165,000 miles on it. Thanks again............
