Default coolant

i have just finished replacing the oil cooler in my truck and dont have time to finish flushing the coolant. it was flushed with vc9 prior to the cooler change and it has partially been flushed with about 20 gallons of distilled water since the cooler. would it be ok to drive it with only distilled water for 4 days about 45 miles a day until i get another day off.... thanks

Yeah that's fine, distilled water is actually one of the best for dissipating heat. However, if it gets down near freezing, get some coolant in there. You might end up having to replace the block.

I've had no issues with 50/50 distilled water and factory Ford gold coolant myself... I know a lot of guys use the cat coolant. In your owners manual there are suggested mixing ratios for your truck depending on the temps.
