Default Rusted Brake Lines

So my truck has lived its life in the No East and when I crawled under it a couple weeks back I realized its not gonna be long until my Brake lines spring a leak. Probably when my wife is doing one of her 60- to 0 short stops cuz the light didnt change fast enough I go down to the local brake shop cuz I cant find replacement steel line at any of the regular (on-Line) parts stores and about had a heart attack when the guy quoted me $750 OE Steel to custom bend the lines cuz they are not available. That dont include install, bleeding etc!!! So I get back on the pc and start a real search, I thought somebody out there might find this useful too. Inline tube The brake plumbing experts has the prefit kit in Stainless for about $200 now thats more like it!!!

Replaced my Rear brake lines on my 94 about a year or so ago bought a 30 ft roll of line and made them myself from the local parts house dont belive i had much more than $40 in all the parts took less than 2 hours counting bleed time and you can bend that stuff by hand just have to take your time with it

Need a flare tool and tube bender too, but hey I might just give that a shot, how about the fittings? Just Brass from the local [Big Box] plumbing department???

You can do it without a tube bender, the rolls of line are more flexible than the rigid pieces. Buy the green coated line it lasts longer if you're in the road salt region.

Got me one of the hydraulic line flaring kits they're pricey but beat the heck outa the hand screw ones, plus they can make the bubble flares for fuel lines etc.
