how do i do a injector test on a 2006 dodge cummins

 

which test would you like to do? are you wanting to test the solenoids or are you wanting to do a fuel return flow test?

 

im sure someone will chime in with a write up, but i believe for a return test you basically buy a cap tool and cap the rail individually and test the return flow on each injector. and to test the solenoid you have to send them off

 

Don't do this! There is a cut out and soleniod test that the dealer can do or someone with the right tester! As for flow test they must be sent in. If it's over 100k and only running the stock filter they are probably wiped out!

 

You can do a flow test with them in the truck as well as checking the solenoids
