Has any one had an intermittent water leak from there water pump area? I siliconed the top neck on the water pump and its not leaking there. I can't see too far in because of all the crap in the way. It really bums me out.

 

Probably coming from the weep hole...

 

What the hell is the weep hole? Is it supposed to leak? Is it on the water pump?

 

It's a hole on the water pump that usually begins to leak when the water pump is on the way out. Mine did this last year.

 

So it's time for a new pump?

 

Certainly could be... I would get up in there with a flashlight and find the leak. It should be pretty easy to spot...

could you elaborate where the weep hole is, i am having a similar problem with my 94 but the water pump has been replaced with a horrible silicone job so it could be that

 

IIRC, it's on the front under where the clutch fan bolts to it...
