Default Hibernation!

I plan on parking my 1995 K2500 for the winter for some much needed body work and paint. my question is what do i need to do as far as the engine ( it may sit for 2-3 months). is it ok to just leave it or does it need to be started once in a while? if so will it hurt to just sit and idle or does it need to be drove? I plan on topping off the fuel after they switch to the winter blend diesel fuel in my area and adding a good additive.

A good investment might be a solar charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter they realitively inexpensive and work as long as there is sun out
