And let me tell ya what happens when you don't properly wash your bio and some lye remains in your fuel. Or maybe Murph will tell us, he should know.

That statement itself is false.

Hey Henery,
I too would be interested in a more detailed view of your vegi set up and how things are run on the truck.
I have done the research on the Bio and I like the thought of .75 + or -, vs $2.90 a gallon, but I don’t have the time and there is a boat load of variables that have to be considered every time you make a batch, not to mention the extra Flammable chemical storage if your buying in bulk like a 55gal drum at a time.
I checked out the site you had posted but didn't see anything for the Dodge yet

Jason Crawford is working on a conversion for the cummins and I last spoke to him last week but didn't ask how that progress was going. I will call him again today and find out what the situation is. Might be he just hasn't updated his website because I know he was very close to having his cummins kit ready for sale. There are other places putting out cummins conversions but they are having issues with the lift pumps on the cummins - trying to use the stock pump for both fuels - and jason i'm sure is planning a seperate pump for the vegi oil which will be a better design.

Good, its a little pricy starting off but it pays for itself very fast and if diesel fuel goes even higher this summer, it will pay for itself that much faster.
Theres still lots of used WVO going into grease dumpsters everywhere...free for the taking and all you have to do is ask the resturant owner and make an arrangement for them to save it for you, the rest is easy. I collect oil from two places, my dad from 2 places and my buddy from about 3 places, they bring me all the oil, i filter it, store it and when any of us three need a tankfull, just pull up to my garage and pump it in. I sometimes have enough surplus i can sell it cheap to fellow greasers who are passing through. I offered it for free once and people came out of the friggin woodwork asking for it so now its a buck a gallon and people are still greatfull to pay that for it.
That helps pay for my expenses like electricity and sock filters.

LOL I bet they were coming out of the wood works they always do when they hear "FREE"

I think I can get my hands on all the VO I will ever need, I cover alot of ground from where I live and where I work and some of the places I go through have ALOT of fast food joints as well as little mom and pops resturants. Haven't heard of or seen to many VO or BIO folks in my area

I stay away from the fast food joints, they seem to hav the dirtiest oil i have found. The best places are higher end resturants like a steak and seafood place. Seafood cooked in dirty oil taste funky so they change it more often, therefor using lots more and it isn't real nasty.
Chineese buffets are the same way.

Well if the dodge systems work as well as the their Ford systems I shouldn't have to much to worry about. Then once the system pays for itself like you said "the rest is gravy"!! Would be nice to put more money back in my pocket since I am running on average 110-125miles a day to and from work
