Thanks, I re did it a couple times adding the pre pump filter and changing the configuration so I can see the gallons turning the meter while I'm pumping. Now its good to go. The fill rite meter is just to see how many gallons I'm pumping. It also keeps track of the total number of gallons pumped, Its at 800. Unfortunately none of my neighbors use biodiesel. I run biodiesel full time in the 04' 6.0 and the late 99' 7.3. French fry exhaust all day long!
How's the Duramax run on bio?

i dont run bio in mine. dont have the setup. the most i have run is the B20 you can get at the pump. cant tell the difference in mine
i did dump about 5 gallons of WVO thinned with RUG and it ran just fine.
what i do have is a black diesel (WMO) setup. just filled up tonight. filter and thin with RUG. cost me about $15 to fill up my tank at 26 gal.
thats about $0.60 a gallon
runs great. "i cant believe it's not diesel" is what i have heard
i'll see if i can get some photos of it

RUG = regular unleaded gas
it is somewhere around 3 gal of RUG to 20 gal to WMO. it is just to thin it out so it will flow more like diesel through the pumps and injectors, not to to mention the filter.
in the bottom drum is where i pour all of my WMO (i have a repair shop across the parking lot from my work that supplies me with WMO) and add my gas. the green pump on the bottom sucks the WMO a few inches up from the bottom of the drum (for things that settle) and dump it back in the top if the drum. this mixes the RUG & WMO.
when the viscosity looks right (no scientific testing here, just experience) turn the little red valve and the green pump will pump it to the top drum for filtering.
the top drum feeds the gear pump and filter (currently only 5 micron as the truck filter doesn't go lower then that)
when i save a bit more i am going to invest in a centrifugal filter for my setup. that is why i have the top drum up so high, as i plan on putting it under there and eliminating the gear pump and filter. then i can have it process the black diesel and store it in a third drum for use

Thanks for explaining the system, I like it. Once you get the centrifuge the fuel will probably be cleaner/better than over priced #2 diesel if its not already with your filter system.
Where I live all the WVO has been taken so I can't really make biodiesel myself or do the vegistroke thing. I'll have to look into a set up like you have because there is a lot of WMO out there.
