Base Water Alcohol methanol injection
here are some of the parts that i used:
McMaster-Carr (i used a Full Cone Spray Nozzle)
for connectors i used McMaster-Carr (adapters >straight> search and find the "Nickel-Plated Brass Push-to-Connect Tube Fittings")
i put an inline strainer in mine McMaster-Carr (inline>High-Pressure Brass Inline Strainers)
for a pressure switch McMaster-Carr (Pressure Switches>6-30 PSI)
then search for a "shurflo pump 12v" or equivalent on ebay or elsewhere that is about 100 PSI or more
add some 1/4" tubing and your set.
for some reason i think that i had to run a threader on my nozzles to get them to screw in. like a nipple - double male ends
i made my tank out of 4" ABS pipe and mounted it under the truck. ran a hose to under the hood to fill it (also put a T on it and ran a hose to the A/C condensate so the water that comes out can be put to good use). dont know how big my tank is but i would say 3+ gallons. doesn't last too long if i have the boost switch set too low but when set right i fill it about once with each fuel fill up
i think i payed just over a $100 for mine

I don't make it because in the SF bay area most all of the WVO has been taken. Plus I don't have the time. So I get it from Serona fuels. They are about 1/2 hour away from my house and deliver 300 gallons every couple months. Its about 50 cents cheaper a gallon than dyno diesel.

Here are some things I have noticed sense installing the water injection.
The boost boot on the top of the engine going into the intake elbow will leak a little oil when using the water injection. It never leaks otherwise. Do you think this is due to steam pressure? Do you think this could cause any damage?
My Amsoil dealer told me a story of a guy he knows who's water injection system failed. The solenoid, check valve or maybe lack there of caused water to fill up the engine while it was not running. When he tried to start it one of the rods broke. Water does not compress very well.
I don't notice any more power. I didn't notice any better mileage.
The relay blew twice in the first week. So I hooked it up differently. I ran power from the dash 12v key on, to the master switch on the dash, to the pressure switch, to the pump. Its been a week or so and is still working good.
I don't like the fact that the engine could fill up with water so I'm planning on running the system every once in a while then disconnecting the hose to the intake just in case. How often do you think the system needs to be ran to keep the internals clean?
I like the internal steam cleaning effect of the system but I'm up in the air whether I would recommend water injection or not..

the steam occurs in the cylinders so i dont think that would be it. are you adding anything to the water? meth? maybe it is just washing all of the oil residue from the PCV vent that dumps in to the intake. did you inject before or after the turbo? should be after for the sake of the turbos life

if the tank is lower then the nozzle and it is injected after the turbo (positive pressure side) then i dont see it being an issue if anything fails, like check valves, solenoids, etc.
if the engine is running then the positive pressure will keep the water from draining into the intake, if it is when the engine is off then the water will flow from the nozzle to the tank do to gravity.

i dont know if anyone knows how long it takes to clean the engine or how much it takes to keep it clean. i know sometimes when an engine is run with a blown head gasket and coolent is leaking into the cylinder it seems that that one is always cleaner then the rest.

as long as you build it smartly and do your research first then you will be fine. i put my solenoid as close to the nozzle as possible to prevent any water in the tube form getting into the intake in large amounts and injected it right on the out of the intercooler to minimize condensing and give it the most time possible to vaporize. one could always use two boost switches, one for the pump set lower and the other for a solenoid set at the point you want it to inject at
i have injected at low rpm and all it did was blow a bunch of white steam out the exhaust. at higher rpms i cant even tell it is on
water injection is a pretty mature modification so if done right will only make the engine last longer
