To find an end in the disscusion about additives just read the January 2012 issue,page 43 of the "PM Monthly"- the preventative maintenance issue of the US military.

Stanadyne Performance Formula diesel additive is now officially allowed to be used all year round with Diesel or JP8 in military diesel vehicles.
It is approved to increase engine life and reliability.

You know what this means?

Benefits:
- Being extensive tested and proven for doing no harm to your engine!
- prevents gelling
- Ok for Ultra low sulfur diesel
- increases lubrication and inhibits rust and corrosion
- contains a detergent to clean IP and injectors

i am still skeptical though. "does not hurt" doesn't mean it will help. just my opinion

 

I don't know about standadyne, but I sure do miss seeing the pretty little girls in the bikini's in the PM Monthly's. I used to study that that little magazine till the pages were wore out.

Ok, back on topic.

 

I've always used stanadyne and powerservice, we have had great results as far as we can tell
