do yall all have stock in oil or something?

im sorry for wasting everyones time i can tell from all the comments that yall have first hand experience with it and yall are not just regurgitating things read in other forums.

im not selling anything and at the same time i aint buying anything either i just wish i could see actual results from an unbiased source... not mythbusters bs

So do some research....the answers are out there......quit waiting for someone to serve it to you on a silver spoon.

im not waiting on a silver spoon, just some one to chime in with some knowledge gained other than off another forum.

if i wanted to be bashed and not gain any info i would go talk about my yj on pirate.

and since i dont know what kind of research you have done torqctd i wont make any comments on it. and i would be thankful if you would do the same.

here are my ideas and thoughts behind why it COULD work.
1. the inefficient burn of the fuel could be cleaned up by the hydrogen causing greater efficiency in the same way propane is capable. ie you wouldnt have a perpetual motion device just something being created by the power of the alternator that would allow the engine which is powering the alternator to burn more of the fuel which is already being injected in.

2. have you ever noticed that turning on the lights at idle especially if you have a couple sets of kc lights will cause the engine to be pulled down. yes... but if you turn on the same lights on the same vehicle at a higher rpm you never notice the difference. i feel that the hho gen would do the same not be much of a help at idle but not be noticeable at a greater rpm.

but like the rest of you i am skeptic of the hype water4gas type crap doesnt make me a believer. but if you wanna see some more overpriced crap with the same style pitch and advertisement check out some of the biodiesel web pages. and i know for a fact that it works.

Thinking like that I built an hho generator 3 years ago and had it putting out about one to two 16 inch balloons a minute of browns gas, it was sucking 15-30 amps depending on how much lye I put in it. It got hot fast and I didn't have a pump and larger tank to circulate the water and cool the generator so it would start to boil after 5-10 minutes of running. It made little to no difference with fuel mileage.

I agree with TSC on the biodiesel sites being way over priced.

thanks bftrain. could you tell if the generator was running while driving. i know i had a sound system in an old truck of mine that would pull enought juice (going down the highway at 2200rpm) to make the lights dim. so i know its possible to put a big tax on your charging system but i wasnt sure if it would be enough to notice with an hho setup. or if to get the setup to produce enough gas to be noticable would be too taxing.

Depended on how much catalyst you added. I melted some wires on the bench when fabing it up. You could add just a bit and draw as little as 2 amps, but it made very little gas.

I will be putting a hho sys. on my truck to see what it does.
I will post the results

I made one of those quart jar jobs and could not tell any difference

build one in your garage, research the catalyst, and use SS for the cathode and anode, in a sealed unit with minimal voltage you can produce a small amount gas, try and capture the gasses separately. ive noticed they will recombine at the top unless you do this.

and anyone who says this is "disproven" just go on the assumption that they have something to gain(finically)or didnt pass high school chemistry, I mean no offense whatsoever, but the electrolysis of water separates the H's from the O's. voltage and amounts of catalysts and temperature make a difference.

yes it is proven that this method can separate hydrogen and oxygen from water...

Problem is the amount of energy it takes to separate hydrogen and oxygen from water exceeds the amount of energy the hydrogen and oxygen can produce in return. Therefor you are pulling more power from your engine to run the HHO generator than you are gaining by burning the hydrogen oxygen mix in your engine...

There have been a few people that have come up with a way to render this theory incorrect, but the first guy that went public with it and had the governments interest wound up dead a week later because he was "hit by a bus" (no joke this is well documented)

His HHO generator was a larger version of what is commonly made that you see for sale or plans of, but the secret to rapid production was in the electrical delivery.

If my guess is correct in watching his explanations...he is basically using very high voltage and pulsating it...and it is probably something as stupid and simple as a coil or a ballast, and a distributor running current to all the rods one at a time for fractions of a second.

If I had the time and spare parts laying around I would test that theory. but I don't and I'm not going to waste my time/money trying.
