Waste Mineral Oil, anyone tried this? we're working on it
Found a large source waste mineral oil from refrigeration units and fridges. Its really thin in viscosity, similar to hydraulic fluid. curious if anyone has tried this as a waste fuel like WMO or if my friend and i are gonna be the first ones. i know ATF and hydro burn good, so i dont see why this wont after its fudged and filtered. guess we'll see....

Well we tried it out tonight in my buddies 24v p-pump and it runs good, 80% mineral 10% WMO and 10% diesel. it burns good, less haze then strait WMO. next will be to test it in the common rail.

yeah after some research mineral oil is used in a vast amount of areas... anything from a laxitive to cooling transformers, it is really thin and mixes well with WMO and diesel, so far no seperation. it doesnt feel like it has alot of lubrication properties, but thats why i blended some WMO in with it... all i can say is it goes threw the centrifudge damn good, even without being heated.
