Default fuel additives

I seen some stuff about it but nothing defining use. What does uesing 2 stroke oil in diesel fuel do? I just put this in my 12v cummins seems to show a difference. Diesel KleenŽ +Cetane Boost. Just seeing if someone could inform me on the 2 stroke oil thing. Thanks.

Diesel Particulate Filter, it catches soot to be later burned out. It's an emissions control.

Truck didn't get DPF till 2007, so you're ok to add 2 stroke oil
