I read a bunch of posts and data from other forums (boating mostly) that state that the outboard engine oil TcW3 is a specific SPEC of oil. Like 10w30. That the TcW3 has to conform to specific viscosity and other standards. Im assuming that this makes it easier or better to burn?

Here is a write-up from SEA-DOO corp about the TcW3 vs 2 Stroke debate. The Late Great Oil Debate

Best one i have used so far is the redline two cycle racing. friggin awesome stuff. Use it in everything now and notice a lot better performance(noise and mpg) both in my diesel and the weed eater and chainsaw. Stellar product imho. Like that article said though, if your warranty requires a certain oil, use it, keep it simple.

Has anyone went to the fuel pump companies and asked them questions about the new diesel fuel and how it may or may not have a positive or negative effect on the pump?

most any two stroke oil will work but i am almost certain the outboards will cause less ash as they are an ashless oil vs the low ash two stroke like castrol and similar. I run the redline two stroke racing oil with great results!

I use 1/2 quart for 16 gallons, any more and I smoke a little. You can safely use the outboard. Just don't overdo it.
