Down here in New Mexico i've ran red fuel and nothing else for 6 years and havent got caught yet (knock on wood) we run it on the ranch and burn around 1500 gallons a month and the delivery guys say its the same thing as hiway, that they add the dye after they load it on the truck and that is comes out the same tank as the hiway fuel

Have a friend down here in S. NM, he filled his PU with off road diesel when he was filling up his farm tractors, he was dipped and fined $10,000.

Trans fluid is a no no in a modern Cummins.

^Yep, it's just dyed to show that no taxes paid on it. I've had it mixed but that's just because I was running our off-road diesel when I ran it in the pasture before I put insurance on the truck. When I finally did put insurance on the truck so I could drive it on the hwy., I still had some off-road in it. That was several tanks ago, so all legal now.
