AME hasn't been reformulated for ULSD. It is still a CI-4+ oil. Hmm.....

I have had my oil checked at Blackstone for several years now. All are good if changed around 7500, much over and they would start to drop off. I was using Amsoil but it do not last any longer then RolltaT, so it was costing to much when I had to change it every 2 months. I do run Amsoil every else. I just change @ 7500 and have it checked to know what it is doing.

Heath,

I finally got my oil changed and the sample will go out tomorrow to Oil Analyzers. For some reason I thought I had more a lot more then 6972 miles on my 7 month old oil, but at least we will see how well the 5w30 HDD held up. BTW I will post the info when I get the report back from the lab.

I have almost 9000 on my oil now in 6 weeks. It is black. When I get back to MT, I am sending a sample in. I had to add 1 qt just 1000 miles ago.
