Nope, thats what the ADR is for... LOL

Just like the idea of more lubrication... Not like our engines run hard or anything with 17.6:1 compression and 30psi of boost... Plus the rat bastards in the government taking the lubrication outta diesel fuel!

Take it from me...this stuff works. I've been using it for the last several years and have seen the benefits of it everytime. Since I have been using it I have not blown any engine up including our race cars. I have used it on vehicles that were dieing and it brought them back to life. I have used it on vehicles that had a problem with the valves seating and it helped reseat them by removing carbon build up. I could go on about the benefits of ZMAX but take it from me...I am a cerified technician of 6 years, a mechanic of 16 years and I own and run ChristianKustomz Automotive & Performance tuning...IT WORKS and you can bank on it!

FYI: Announced Actions for March 20, 2003

The FTC might have a problem with them but for me this product works very well. It's a little pricy but I am sold on it. I have neer heard a complaint from any of my customers. Seems like the FTC wants to sue everyone. I think the FTC has sued everyone at some point . Thanks for that info because I never knew the were being sued. It's good reading though. But to the original question: in my experience and opinion ZMAX is a great product that works. I think it's bad they flubbed a few tests because they really didn't need to do it. But it works. I have used it in diesel oil and gasoline engines and performs fabulously. I would not suggest the transmission treatment though. I have never seen any benefits from that. The fuel treatment works as a preventative measure but not after you already an issue. This is after years of usage. So that's my answer to the original Q. I hope this helps.

I joined just so I could let you know that you should have kept reading on that FTC website because it goes on to tell you that zmax and the ftc had a settlement and zmax can continue to make its claims

FYI: Announced Actions for March 20, 2003
zMAX vs. FTC - Reduce friction, increase horsepower, dissipate engine heat, deposits, restore gas mileage, extend engines life

the settlement was made in 2003. i put the fuel and oil additive into a fresh synthetic oil change, it seems to warm up quicker and drive smoother through the rpms. i dont know about the fuel additive though.

Those that put it in during the year 2010, did you continue to use it? did it make any dif? any outstanding claims? did it fail? what did you do to test or what was your data fix point to compare it too? i want to get as many miles out of my motor i can. also, those that put it in the transmission.
did the trans work better? or did it conveniently crap out? no one has really come back with a positive outcome yet.
