500 PPM LSD Diesel Still Sold
#11
You can buy LSD at allot of stations around here still! There is just a warning sticker that states "It is illegal to pump this LOW SULFUR diesel into any vehicle produced after 2007"
LAME!
I just use whatever fuel is cheapest and add 1pt per fill up (35gal) of TC-w3 2 stroke oil... Works friggin incredibly!!!

I wonder if I can find any around... Curious to see if there's a difference in performance or smoothness.

I was going to say you guys are wrong. After looking at epa.gov for a while (I hate their site by the way!) I think you are right. Sometime later this year it appears it will become mandatory to sell only ULSD. So, I guess it is understood that it isn't required just yet....
I got real tired of muddling my way around epa's site. This is the best I could come up with that would give us some guidelines for what the rules are:
epa.gov/compliance
(Good job on this guys! I like how they publish things as facts and law when they were really just time lines or suggestions. I am pretty sure what I was remembering was different posters and what not that I had seen. They made it seem like it was already law. If it was, then at least they have realized it would be too hard on small refineries to meet the dead lines and have 'adjusted' the law to allow them a little more time. It will be interesting seeing what kind of fuel is available across the nation. I will have to pay attention to that.)
