I delivered bulk fuel for a few years and I think its best you do yer own additives that way you know whats in there and how much...........I can say that the bulk delivery guy doesnt always have the right amount of additive OR he doesnt take the time to do the additive..........been there done that.............trust yer 30 year mechanic..........experience goes a long ways in this world

I think whatever school he went to pumped him full of propaganda and advertising for whatever companies were sponsoring his program. Happens all the time!

Stick with what you're doing now!!! Nothing else can be better than not having problems.

We get 2 guys from the school every 6 months on an internship program. Most of the ones we get are laid back and end up in the daily grind after a few weeks.

This is the first time that I have gotten someone from the school that was that hard core on what product names to use. In seven weeks this guy’s internship runs out and he’s not on our “lets hire this guy” list.

The second guy we have this cycle jumped right into the swing of things. I would like to hire this guy but he asked for a letter of recommendation a few weeks ago and looks like he’s got a few offers. This guy even came to me and asked for help with getting his CDL and passed on the second road test. He has a job offer on the table with us if he wants it.

nab a good youngun and have the old guy train him up..................the future is there like it or not.

Hey just FYI. when I was haulin fuel we used to go to a refinery and get railroad diesel for 28 cents a gallon and blend it in with our tanks of 120,000 gals, the loads were 10,000 gals, I was haulin a train (a trailer and a pup) we used to go thru aprox 70-100,000 gals a day at this truck stop..........One time I hauled 12 k loads (way over weight) for 18 loads in a row and never got the level above 30k......all that in 14 hours
