Say guys I have been running 4 rigs, 2 mercedes and 2 fords trucks . for 3 years this july.
I let my oil set in a holding tank for 2 month letting all the sediment fall to the bottom, I then drain all but the bottom 2 inches of oil into another container, while doing so I double up a pillow case to assure that all sediment is caught . I then run it thru a cycle with a 5 micron filter, then change the filter and run it thru a 2 micron now my oil is ready. EACH rig runs diffrently so the mix ture is all up to your truck or car performance. I mix 40 gallon oil, 10 gallon no.1 diesel or kerosene, 2 gallon stale low octane gas, 8oz. octain boost. This is a 52 gallon batch. I make no changes in summer or winter (Arkansas) weather.
I don`t have to use the gas when I mix for the mercedes , if filtered properly they will run on veggie oil alone .
Anyone can do this with a couple 55 gallon drums and a pump. I started with a hand pump and a $600.00 duelly for my test .
I have setup 3 mixing stations besides my own.
Just remember that each rig runs differently , find the right mix for you
